Before I started Full Sail, I was 11 years removed from my last college class. I had always thought I wanted to be a DJ or radio personality. After completing several internships, I was so sure of the path I was on. But then at age 19, I lost my mother and my world was upside-down. I was really close to graduating but I was gripped by fear, heartache, and tragedy. Because of that I dropped out of college, looking for a way to ease the pain. Because of that my goals and passions took a backseat to my real-life responsibilities and trials. Soon after, I met the love of my life and started a family. Because of that I've been working a job that pays the bills but doesn't fuel my passions. Doing what I had to do to support them, even at the expense of my own personal goals. Until finally I decided to pick myself up and finish what I started for myself, but also for my family. Watching my wife graduate with her nursing degree was one of the happiest days ...
